- Unreviewed games are not counted and never receive an estimated score. Coverage (reviewed games out of current games) is shown beside every score.
- Companies with fewer than two reviewed games, or with fewer than half of their games reviewed, are flagged “Limited review coverage”. They are ranked by the same formula, but their score rests on less evidence.
- Seasonal listings, closed or unconfirmed games, combo tickets and non-escape-room experiences are excluded. Venue Facility Ratings are a separate measure and are never included.
- Scores are shown to one decimal. Companies with the same displayed score share a rank.
